The popular New Orleans summer dining tradition continues at Palace Café with Temperature Lunch for its 26th year! For the second year, our sister restaurant, Bourbon House will also participate!
Keeping with tradition, two courses are priced at the previous day’s high temperature (85° on Monday=Tuesday’s $8.50 lunch) and is available Wednesday - Friday (at Palace Café) and Monday - Friday (at Bourbon House) 11am to 2:30pm, through Labor Day. Guests have a choice of Soup or Salad as a starter and the entrées change daily using local, seasonal ingredients.
“Temperature Lunch is synonymous with summer lunch. Locals love it and frequently dine with us more than once a week, in fact we have a few guests we see daily. This year, with the addition of our other restaurants, we hope to give guests even more variety” commented Palace Café owner, Dickie Brennan.
Past dishes include:
Crawfish Gnocchi– with English peas and wild boar speck
Louisiana Crab Cake –with avocado puree and frisée salad
BBQ Shrimp– with goat cheese grit cake
